Thin Fortune, Rushed Hours

In this project I tried to start a dialogue with the viewer about contemporary landscapes. After graduating I moved to Antwerp, from where I could easily travel to Brussels and Paris. With no money left I walked through these big cities, roaming around and observing the non-dutch environment.

When capital slowly drips away, residuals remain in the gutters, cracks and crawl spaces, taking on new roles while losing their function. Streets pave the way for fantasy and new ideas. Thin fortune, rushed hours is a visual story about how apparent certainties consist only of traces of thoughts of those who preceded us.
